If you’re as pumped-up as I am for football season to start, then please join the rest of the fan club at Peabody’s this Friday at 7:00pm to watch the Jets take on St. Louis in pre-season action. Consider it pre-season for us Tampa area fans who are missing football season something awful.
Besides, it will be a great way to see old friends after a long off season and a chance for us to see our new rookie QB take the field with the team.
We should also have the same or very similar food and drink specials.
So what do you say? Looking for something to do this Friday…?

- Looking for company sponsors for a paid Fan Club Members Discount Card.
- Fan Clubs from Atlanta, Virginia, South Florida, and Port Orange will be joining us for a weekend of festivities when the Jets play the Bucs in December.
- TAILGATE PARTY: Still looking for company’s who want to sponsor or donate items for the Jets/Bucs tailgate party in December at the stadium.
- Super Bowl champ and lifetime fan club member Earl Christy now has his own radio talk show here in the Tampa area on Monday nights from 7pm-8pm on ESPN 1040am radio (www.espn1040.com or www.itgsports.com). He is looking for members with businesses that might like to advertise on his show. Peabody’s is advertising as are several other well known locations in the Bay Area. About Festa
My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team. When I founded the fan club in October of 2004 I never imagined it would become as massive as it now has with over 600 members from around the world and sister Fan Club Chapters in 4 other Florida cities and growing.
