Hey all! A few of us from the fan club made it over to the preseason game between the Jets and the Bucs this past Friday evening. Jon, Irv, and I arrived around 4pm and set up a real Jets Tailgate party like we used to do back at the Meadowlands.

We chowed down on Shrimp, Wings, Sausage, and Steak and washed it down with plenty of beer.My dad (who got us the tickets – Club Seats on the 50 yard line – SWEET!!), showed up around 5pm and enjoyed some of the food too.

Just before we went inside, Christian showed up all pumped up and ready to see some Jets football.

By the time we got inside we were ready to rock the house down. Of course there was not too much to cheer for as the Jets did lose the pre-season opener 16-3 but we did do a Jets chant when they tied the game up at the half. Regardless how they did in the second half it was great to see Chad back in the game and leading the team. Hopefully he can stay healthy and win back his QB job.

The Jets are off to Washington this Saturday at 8pm to take on the Skins. Hopefully things will be looking up.

See you at P’s!

About Festa

My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team. When I founded the fan club in October of 2004 I never imagined it would become as massive as it now has with over 600 members from around the world and sister Fan Club Chapters in 4 other Florida cities and growing.
