Hey all,
Just a reminder that Sunday’s game is a 4:00 game. Many of us willbe at Peabody’s early to watch the 1:00 games as well.
We want to see another great turnout for this week. Some of you Iknow can’t make it but others who missed last week I know are goingto be around this week.
Great news… after some discussions with Peabody’s, they have agreed to purchase a flat screen TV to replace the one currently above the bar and used by the fan club. Hopefully this will help out tremendously as the current TV has a notorious glare during early games. Be sure to let the staff and management at Peabody’s know how much you appreciate this and how much you are looking forwardto getting it.
Thought I’d also let you in on a few things, Jets Superbowl Champ Earl Christy had such a great time last week that he plans on being around more often for games and bringing some of his NFL friends and family. I’ve also given him the first ever “Lifetime Membership” and a place on the Jets-Fan.com website where you can learn about the things he’s up too. I called it “Christy’s Corner” and it can be found in the new “News and Events” area of the site. Don’t be shy approaching Earl. He’s very warm and inviting and is looking to make business connections as well as fan connections. Feel free to slip him your card and to take one of his. Be sure to ask him what he’s up to these days.
As you already know if you’re reading htis, I’ve updated the “what’s new blog” so it looks like the new website. Besure to check it out.
The message boards are finally getting some real use for a change. Be sure to check them out to discuss players and other stuff. If anyone has a topic they’d like to discuss start one up or drop me a line asking me to start it.
Don’t forget to ask about Peabody’s $10 all the beer you can drink special. And be sure to take care of the bar and wait staff. They work hard while we’re having fun.
Well… that’s it for now.
See you at P’S

About Festa
My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team. When I founded the fan club in October of 2004 I never imagined it would become as massive as it now has with over 600 members from around the world and sister Fan Club Chapters in 4 other Florida cities and growing.
