Most of you are likely aware of the incredible time we had last Sunday. 80+ Jets fans swarmed the Palms for a fun time watching the game against the Bengals on the big screen. Let’s go for 100 this week against the Raiders at 4:15pm. Here’s the weekly (or so) newsletter….

Meet New York Jets Super Bowl Champ Earl Christy this Sunday
Earl Christy, #45 of the Super Bowl III New York Jets Championship team, has confirmed that he will definitely be joining us at Peabody’s this Sunday for the Jets vs. Raiders game (4:15 pm).
Earl (along with Joe Namath and others) will be in New York next week to be part of the ceremony honoring the 40th anniversary of the Super Bowl III Championship team, which will take place during halftime of the Jets/Chiefs game.
Earl is a great guy who loves to meet people and always has a smile on his face. He’ll be signing autographs as well, so come on out and get yours, and have your photo taken with Earl.

*BTW, Earl returned the opening kickoff of SB III.
Be there for our biggest Jets Fan Club Group Photo
We’re planning to take a group photo of the entire Jets Fan Club in front of the ten-foot TV screen at halftime. Make sure you wear some Green and get there before halftime so you can be in the picture.
50/50 Raffle
We’re gonna try holding a 50/50 raffle this week to help support the club with funds to buy stuff like banners, stickers, business cards, shirts for our servers, and more. Peabody’s has already said they’d put up the banner.
Tickets will be $1 each or you can spend 3$ for 5 tickets or $5 for 10 tickets. Winner gets half the pot and a Jets DVD. The other half goes to support the club.
