Hey all,

Well, the pre-season is finally over and it’s now time to get the REAL football season started. The Jets kickoff the 2006 season at Tennessee against the Titans this Sunday at 1pm. J-E-T-S, JETS, JETS, JETS!!!

Like last year, the fan club will be meeting for each JETS game at Peabody’s Billiards and Games located at 15333 Amberly Dr in Tampa (Amberly Drive & Bruce B. Downs) – (813) 972-1725. Even though the Jets had a lousy year last year which caused a lousy showing of the fan club, Peabody’s is welcoming us back again this year. They have great Sunday specials including No Cover and $10 for all the Bud and Bud Light drafts you can drink during the games. Also on special are $2 Domestic Bottles, $3 Jack Daniels, & $10 Long Island Ice Teas.

But people… we have to show Peabody’s some love!!! It’s VERY important that everyone turn out in force, particularly these first few weeks, to make sure we make it worth Peabody’s while to support us. Please try to come down for the game and bring your friends and family with you. P’s has the NFL package and lots of TV’s to watch them on so all the games are always available. Along with great specials, and a very friendly staff, they have 15 newly felted Pool Tables, 20 competitive dart boards, 25 NTN Playmaker Systems for hours of trivia, and a variety of video games.

So please come out to Peabody’s to root on the Jets and to help us build the fan club. I’ll be giving out Fan Club cards for each of you to take with you and give out to anyone you see wearing JETS merchandise. We need everyone to pitch in to build the fan club into something bigger.
