Hey Jets Fans,
Well, after an off-season of fairly light-weight moves in the free agency market, our Jets come out swinging by creating a huge media blitz with the announcement of, for better or worse, the signing of Tim Tebow.
Problem is, I’m really much too swamped to add much to the conversation. I also really hate that our blog lays dormant for most of the off season.  With our tremendous fan base and long history on the web, our fan clubs blog could very easily become a force in the ongoing conversation about the Jets.
So, I’m looking for some folks willing to step up and become writers for our Jets Fan Club blog on a regular basis.  Anything Jets related or football related (or anything else that makes sense) is welcomed.  You don’t need to be an English major or a word-smith, just someone with a passionate point of view about our J-E-T-S and a willingness to participate on our team.
Here an idea I’m hoping someone will grab hold of and write about for a great first article…

I’d love a story about the pros and cons of the Tebow trade.

You write it and I’ll publish it on our blog.  Anything anyone writes that is published on our blog would also hit our Fan Clubs homepage, our 600+ membership base via email, our Facebook Group and Fan pages, our Twitter Feed, and go out to numerous other place via our syndication feeds. That’s a lot of coverage people.
So, if anyone interested in becoming a part of the next big Jets News blog on the web, please email me at writers@jets-fan.com or call me at 888-NY-JETS-1.
Let’s make it a great off season and a “Super” 2012 regular season.

About Festa

My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team. When I founded the fan club in October of 2004 I never imagined it would become as massive as it now has with over 600 members from around the world and sister Fan Club Chapters in 4 other Florida cities and growing.
