Hey Jets Fans,
I have some big news to share with you in this post but first I just wanted to remind you that the Jets will take on the Arizona Cardinals from the Meadowlands at 1pm on Sunday. This is a big game for us and we need a win to be 2-2 heading into our bye next week.
Of course a large group of us will be at Peabody’s and I can personally assure you from being at Peabody’s for Monday nights game that the sound is officially working great now. You WILL be able to hear the game quite easily going forward.
Now for the news I promised… the real reason for this post is to ask each and every one of you to try to make it out to Peabody’s this Sunday and to bring anyone and everyone you can with you.
We are making a really strong play to move the Fan Club into the attached Palms Night Club. The Palms has a HUGE TEN FOOT screen and two bars of it’s own plus lots of other LCD TV screens and plenty of seating with room to grow the club.
I’m not sure if the move into the Palms is gonna happen this week or not (actually I’m not sure it will happen at all) but I know it will never happen if we don’t deliver around 30+ people each and every week for the Jets.
Peabody’s management is afraid that if the Jets don’t do well, that club members will stop showing up. Because of that, they are afraid to commit that room to us if we wind up having like ten people some weeks.
So…, it is extremely important that we make a powerful statement of support for our Jets.
Come Sunday, you should first look for us in our regular spot at the beta bar to the back right of Peabody’s. If you don’t see anyone in Jets Green, check the Palms. In order to get to the Palms you’ll need to walk into Peabody’s, head straight back and when you hit the wall make a left and head past the bar and straight up the ramp.
See you Sunday!

About Festa
My given name may be Steve but my friends have been calling me Festa for the last 30 years. While I really miss going to all the JETS home games and tailgating with a large group of friends, it’s really great being here in Tampa around other JETS fans while we root for our team. When I founded the fan club in October of 2004 I never imagined it would become as massive as it now has with over 600 members from around the world and sister Fan Club Chapters in 4 other Florida cities and growing.
