We had a fairly large turnout for game 1, despite the fact that many members were actually at the game in Miami. As I talked with our fellow Jets fans today at Peabody’s, we all got the sense that next Sunday we’ll have a record attendance for the club. See ya there! Reminder: After the Jets defeat the Pats, we will show the new dvd of the original NBC broadcast of Super Bowl III, minus the commercials and halftime. Watch Earl Christy catch the opening kickoff! Earl will be watching with us as well.
*A kind request: Please wear at least a Jets shirt to Peabody’s. This is a Jets fan club. We’re still seeing some of our fellow Jets fans coming in with plain clothes, or yankees attire or whatever.
